COREY LaFRANCE- #20 -- The oldest of the (3) seventeen year old players on the team.  An instinctive baseball player who is fast and gifted.  Capable of playing any position on the field although his primary positions will be in the outfield and particularly pitching.  Fleet of foot, strong arm, great glove and a consistent bat with some power makes him the player to watch this year.

EDGAR GONZALEZ #11 -- A laid back player, but another guy with great skills that needs to be honed.  An outfielder with a good glove, speedy and strong armed and along with a dangerous bat makes him a solid player.  He needs more experience, which he will get and to learn the meaning of hustle to round him into the key consistent player I think he can and will be.

KURT HOUPPERT #2 -- His primary position will be our shortstop.  Quickness, good glove work and a strong arm with a knowledge of the position puts him at that top infield skill position.  He will need to work more with his new infield and that will come as we move into the heart of the season. He needs to be the leader in the infield and in order for him to do that he will need to mellow out.  Experience and at 16, age will do that.  I expect him to be a major critical player on this team.

ERIC GIROLIMON #13 -- Losing a year or more to a serious medical condition, Eric has developed a positive attitude as  to what he now does.  As a serious ball player, gifted with quickness, a good glove and a powerfull arm, Eric will make his mark on this team. At 6-2, he is big for a second baseman, but that's where he is going to help this team.  The double play, when he and SS Houppert get it down pat, will be one of beauty, my favorite play  A good hitter with power, consistency is still to be proven, but it should come with experience.

KEGAN BOE #19 -- His stature is not big, but he plays big and that's all that counts.  Kegan has chosen the outfield where his speed, good ball judgement and a good glove are a big pluses along with a great attitude.  Arm strength needs to be worked on, but he has shown some improvement.  A good contact hitter and good bunter, Kegan will have to compete for time in, what is now, a crowded outfield.
JOSH CALABRESE #4 --Josh is a player with good quickness and average speed.  Hits with some power and appears to hit with consistency.  A good glove in the outfield, he will also do some catching behind the plate.  A baseball smart, solid ball player that needs to trust his good instincts more. A Team Captain with a competive drive and leadership qualities
TREMAIN BOLES #5  -- Tremain is the fastest guy on the team and track has been his game. While he has played baseball at lower levels, baseball at this level has presented some problems.  For him, the learning curve will be a challenge.  He is a very good athlete and with a lot of practices and a couple of games he has improved his game substantially, but still has a long way go.  We can use him on the base paths and he has learned to bunt, but is inconsistent.  Defensively, he can cover a lot of ground in the outfield and is now catching the ball with regularity.  Game Knowledge along with, hard to get, experience are the necessary tools he has to work hard to develop
ADAM FUOCO #6 -- Adam has been slated as one of our major pitchers and after his first outing, he has not disappointed.  While not an overpowering pitcher, he has (3) or more pitches that when he mixes them up along with his great control, he has shown success.  An excellent glove guy with a decent arm, he will be our all around infield backup.  The book is still open on his hitting, but he will only get better, in all phases of his game, with experience
BILLY WARD #9 -- Billy is a capable outfielder who is a great judge of a fly ball.  Average arm and speed, he shown good improvement since the season has began.  At the plate, he has shown good contact and has been putting the ball in play.  Inexperience is his main problem having not played spring ball so he needs to work on all aspects of his game to earn more playing time.
CODY LEMIEUX #21 -- Cody is a big boy at around 6-2.  At first base, he has a very good glove plus he is a big target for the infielders.  While not particularly fast, he has good baseball instincts and can react quickly.  At the plate he has good mechanics and is a patient hitter. While he has the build to be a power hitter, we will need to get further into the season to determine if average or power or both is his future in the hitting department.
PAT BAKER #12 -- Pat is our other team captain and his primary position is catcher. He is very sound defensively behind the plate and he has a strong arm as well.  Offensively, he is a dangerous line drive hitter with power.  Speed wise he is average, but he is a smart player and runner and plays within himself. Coming off a respirtory illness, Pat is just starting to get his mojo back. We are expecting big things from him.
ZAC REARDON #28 -- Zac is another one of our big guys and he swings a big bat with power. He has a strong throwing arm, but Zac is feeling his way around after major surgery on that arm.  Speed and quickness are not his strong points and his glove work needs to improve.  He is perfect for the EH spot where we expect him to have some big hits.  Defensively, he will back up 1st and 3rd
KYLE SANFORD #16 -- Kyle is another one of our big men.  Not particularly fast, he does have average quickness and 3rd base is his non-pitching position.  A good glove and a gun for an arm, Kyle's main expertise is pitching.  A mean fast ball that moves around, a changeup to go along with the fastball and a curve ball that is still a work in process makes him a pitcher to be reckoned with.  Offensively, he is a dangerous long ball hitter when he makes good contact with the ball.  Needs to be more aggressive at the plate and look for good pitches in his zone.  Experience and confidence at the plate will make him a feared hitter in this league.
